My name Laura McCullough-DeLorme and I'm an indie artist/crafter currently living in Wisconsin.
I love paper the way some people love fabrics and spend countless hours coming up with new ways to use old books, newspapers, magazines, maps and even vintage postcards and dress patterns. I offer a line of accessories and housewares made from upcycled and recycled paper currently carried by several stores and galleries and I also participate in our local farmer's market and art events.
My paper wallets and cardholders are by far my most popular item and are available on-line here.
Little Orange Kitchen is always evolving and I feel blessed to have carved out a life with creativity. I have so many ideas and projects I want to share with you that I almost never know where to begin!
My blog is a studio blog in the sense that I share my latest work, but I like to share my thoughts and views as well. Plus, if you look around, you'll find recipes, tutorials and lots of information on local happenings. I can't be pinned down to making or writing about just one thing!
Thank you for visiting,
Laura
P.S.
I'm also an aspiring playwright, pretty good cook, avid reader and I love hiking. I've got a mean love of vintage lingerie (black thick strap garter belts in particular), self-help books, thrifting and camping. I'm married and am on my way to losing 116 pounds...only 113 more to go. I get a pretty big kick out of myself and laugh harder at my own jokes than...well, everyone.
Oh, and I really do have an orange kitchen.
You can always email me here: littleorangekitchen@yahoo.com

Hey Laura. I wanted to let you know that one of the girls from my school really likes my wallet and is interested in buying one. I told her about how it's made and told her about your blog. I hope that was okay. In any case, I was hoping that I could assure her that she could secure one for herslef. I don't how she would go about doing that, but I just thought I should give you a heads up. If you want you can e-mail me, or you can find me on Facebook if that's easier for you.

Hi, Laura. I saw you at Art Street in Green Bay this summer & we discussed you making me a few specialty items out of maps of Edmonton, Alberta Canada, where my daughter is currently teaching & getting her doctorate. I possibly would purchase a set with a wallet, pass port holder, and card holder.
I lost your card, and was having trouble finding you. The Art Street people passed your info on to me. I was hoping this to be a Christmas gift, so I hope this isn't too late of notice. If so, her birthday is in June & that would be wonderful as well. We are open to what you suggest & live in De Pere. Hope this idea is still favorable to you!
Thank you,
Dorothy
